Enter the world.

In Jack's desolate world, ruins and abandoned buildings stand as reminders of a bygone era, and the air is thick with dust and debris. The Rivian R1S is more than transportation, it's a lifeline, providing Jack with the speed and agility he needs to avoid danger. Despite the devastation, Jack remains determined to survive and create a better world out of the ashes of the old one.

Key Features.

As the story progresses, the visual style shifts to reflect the changing emotional states of the characters. In moments of hope, the colors brighten and the camera angles shift to emphasize the beauty of the world. Conversely, in moments of fear and danger, the camera becomes frenzied and chaotic, conveying the characters' desperation and struggle to survive.

VFX Direction —

"Blending the physical and digital world has always been an aspect of production that incredibly excites me. Taking the lead on the vfx elements of Carry Us, it was best to shoot with the end in mind. We framed with VFX building height in mind and were extra intentional to plan for our scenes to be tracked and incorporate elements that would further fill the frame. Continuity was a huge challenge throughout the entire process as our character moved in and out of practical and vfx environments".
